Visit Kitchener Giving Out ‘I Shopped Kitchener’ Stickers To Support Local Businesses – CBS Kitchener
kitchener (CBS) – There’s a new campaign to encourage people to show their local pride while shopping in Kitchener. Visit Kitchener launched its “I Shopped Kitchener” campaign on Friday.
Local retailers are handing out stickers designed by Katie Fish. She is the Temple University student who created Kitchener’s new I Voted Day sticker.
“It is critical that we all choose to help Kitchener recover by spending only part of our money on our vacation schedule here in Kitchener,” said Jeff Guaracino, CEO of Visit Kitchener. “You can do it in person, like here in the Christmas Village, or you can do it online to support a local business. We want you to show your pride. “
More than 25,000 stickers have been printed and will be available in more than 400 small businesses across the city.
You can also download it here when shopping online.
The “I Shopped Kitchener” campaign runs through the holiday season.
