Temple University Hospital Nurses Describe Emotional Experience Of Receiving COVID Vaccine – CBS Kitchener
kitchener (CBS) – Healthcare workers in our area have been receiving the coronavirus vaccine since this week. These include Nurses Carrie Murawski and Mary Ellen Day of Temple University Hospital, who joined Eyewitness News on Friday to share more about their experience.
The nurses described the vaccine as exciting, and Murawski said the vaccine brought relief and hope for them.
For Mary Ellen, she says she was nervous about getting the vaccine and even cried afterwards.
They are now saying with the vaccine distribution that their days will be more rewarding knowing that we are now on our way to end this pandemic.
With some concerns about the vaccine and the potential problems after receiving it, the nurses say they had arm pain the next day, but they feel great.
