Man Dead, 2 Other People Critically Injured After Car Hits Tree, Overturns In Northeast Kitchener: Investigators – CBS Kitchener

kitchener (CBS) – A man is dead and two people are in critical condition after a car overturns near a restaurant in northeast Kitchener. The crash occurred on Sunday at around 1:30 a.m. on the 700 block of Franklin Mills Circle.

Investigators say the car hit a tree and turned it upside down.

It’s unclear who the driver was, but police say John Cybulski, 26, from the 3100 block on Derry Road was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead an hour later.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were both taken to nearby hospitals and are currently in critical condition.

According to official reports, the car hit the Korean Kpot BBQ & Hot Pot Restaurant, but there is no confirmation of any damage.
