Investigation Underway After Man, Woman Found Dead Inside Camden County Home – CBS Kitchener

AUDUBON, NJ (CBS) – An investigation is ongoing after the Camden County Attorney’s Office reports that a couple was found dead in their Audubon home. According to official information, the discovery was made on Monday around 1 p.m.

According to police, officers responded to a house on the Oakland Avenue block for reports of two people found dead.

A witness told officers they went home to do a social check-up after hearing nothing from the couple since Saturday.

Detectives say they tracked down a woman identified as 64-year-old Jane Venable who died of visible injuries. They found a man identified as 63-year-old Kevin Venable who had died from a gunshot wound.

The police are now working to find out what led to the deaths.
